The MBIB Division strives to encourage colleagues to embrace a variety of perspectives by leading group activities, as well as giving or sponsoring panel presentations that grow leadership and communication skills. The organizing committee also arranges speaking engagements for scientific leaders who demonstrate many pathways to success.
This past spring, Division researchers led an activity to highlight opportunities to improve communications with co-workers. This interactive discussion was held with the nearly 90 attendees.
Graduate student Moritz Kreztschmar participated in the Falling Walls Lab final for the San Francisco Bay Area. He presented his innovative research in a 3-minute talk for the public at the Exploratorium on April 17, 2024. Moritz shared his vision for improved photosynthesis.
